Srushti Deshmukh has started preparations for the UPSC entrance in her third year in engineering. Following her graduation, she started to wonder whether or not she would enjoy a career in engineer position. Her goal became apparent after she began focusing on the civil job. She was urged by her parents to pursue careers in civil services and get ready for the tests. She kept her motivation and focused on becoming an IAS Officer. The process of achieving UPSC requires more effort. While she was studying in her engineering courses, she used to also prepare different subjects in UPSC. She set aside time for test preparation daily. She was able to pass the engineering exams in just 1 1/2 months and avoided social life and social media platforms altogether. She believes that focusing is essential to crack the exam of government and becoming an official in the civil service. She made a lot of effort to ensure she passed the test in the first try. The routine of her day included reading newspapers in order to be informed of the latest news. Rajya Sabha TV and online studies were also of great help to her.
